Desktop Tower Defense is a game where bad little creatures called “creeps” try to walk to your finish line. You build towers that shoot the creeps to stop them. When you destroy a creep, you earn coins. You spend coins to build more towers or make them stronger.

Here’s the fun part: the path the creeps take isn’t set ahead of time. When you put towers out, they act like walls. Creeps will go around towers, so you try to make a winding, twisty path so creeps stay in the danger zones longer. That gives your towers more time to shoot.

There are lots of different creeps. Some are fast, some fly, some are tough and don’t get hurt easily by certain towers. You have to pick the right towers. If too many creeps get past your defenses, you lose lives. If you lose all lives, the game ends. There are also harder modes or special challenges once you get good.
