Get to Know About Confound
Pete Koziar launched Confound in 1993. Two players face off on a square grid. Each side starts with two pegs and a handful of barriers. On each turn a player slides a peg or drops a barrier. Landing a peg in the opponent’s start square wins the round.
Players choose between moving forward or blocking a path. A barrier placed too early can open a gap. Chasing long term plans sometimes lets the rival slip past. Quick shifts and sharp choices decide each round. Simple moves unlock complex strategies.
Confound still attracts careful planners. Clear rules reveal hidden depth. Every match demands full attention. Adapting on the fly proves essential. A win depends on tight focus. Timing makes the difference.
