Hunter Story is a monster fighting game where you use a bow. You go into a mission and fight enemies on the screen. When you beat monsters, you get stronger. You level up and learn new skills. Then the game sends stronger monsters, so you keep improving.

Hunter Story uses the mouse to shoot. You hold the mouse button to charge your shot. Then you let go to shoot where your cursor points. That means you can aim at the exact spot you want. After you unlock skills, you can put them on shortcut keys, so you can use them fast when the fight gets busy.

Hunter Story feels like training little by little. You start with basic shots, then you unlock skills that help you win faster. You also buy a better bow when you earn enough. The game keeps the goal simple. Beat monsters, grow stronger, then beat tougher monsters. Each level up feels good because you can see the change right away in the fights.
