Glean 2 sends you into alien landscapes with a small robot built to dig out valuable minerals. You attach basic drills and load a weak battery. You push through cracked ground until the metal head bites into tough ore. Each chunk you pull out adds strength to the digging gear or extends your power pack.
Every excursion forces you to watch your gear and energy. Too much ore fills storage and leaves no room for new finds. A collapsed tunnel might hide a strange console. You reroute its circuits and pry open a sealed door before the lights flicker out.
Planets unlock as you earn better parts. New surfaces bring odd creatures and sudden storms that threaten your machine. Chips clatter when drills hit rock and eerie hums drift from deep shafts. You head home with fresh supplies and hunt down tougher deposits.
