Hellvolution throws you into a ruined world swarmed by the undead. You regain consciousness in a battered shed clutching a lone pistol. Groans echo as the creatures close in on every side. Your goal lies in downing these monsters and uncovering the cause of this nightmare.
Players point their weapon with the mouse then fire with an easy click. Buttons one through four let you swap tools of destruction on the fly. Hitting keys five to seven unleashes special moves that can tip a battle. Smooth animations and tight shooting bring each skirmish to life. As zombies herd together the pressure to manage your ammo and skills never stops.
A solid plot drives you forward while undead armies never let up. Some players complain that levels blur together after a few rounds. Horror meets action in each run to keep hearts racing. You can jump into the carnage on Newgrounds or on Miniplay to test your skills. That crowd of players keeps the thrill alive.
