On September 12 2024 the developers released the Playable Pico Update for Friday Night Funkin’. It carries the 0.5.0 label under the Destination series. It adds a fresh batch of content.

Freeplay mode gained a new slot. Pico appears among the cast as a selectable character. Hitting Tab in the menu switches the view to him.

The team dropped twelve new tracks plus exclusive Pico remixes. Animations gained more fluid motion. Stages show new backgrounds synced to each song. These updates spark fresh rhythm challenges and lift the creative bar.
