Plants vs Zombies lets you defend the yard with living greenery. You plant sunflowers to gather sunshine. You use that sunshine to place peashooters. They fire at oncoming zombies.

Zombies march down each lane toward your house. Each plant you deploy attacks on a timer. You keep them from crossing your lawn by adding more defenses.

Defending waves earns you coins to unlock new plant types. Wall-nuts appear to block paths. Every new species adds fresh tactics and fills out your full lineup.
