In Defend Your Dirt you have a chunk of dirt that you must protect. Bad guys keep coming, and you have a laser cannon that tries to stop them before they touch your dirt.

When you shoot the bad guys, you earn coins. You use those coins to make your laser stronger, faster, or tougher. You can also make the dirt harder to break. As more bad guys come, you need better upgrades or the dirt won’t last very long.

At first the game feels easy. But the enemies get stronger and come faster. The dirt pile can grow large and get in the way. You have to watch for when to upgrade and when to aim well. The goal is to keep the dirt safe as long as possible while making your defenses better.
