Controls stay simple. The keyboard moves Jack across each map. The mouse lines up every shot. Pressing space switches weapons and tapping R reloads the gun. Daylight hours force scrounging for ammo and patching weak spots. Darkness brings larger zombie packs. Resource choices and defense tactics shape each long night.
The Last Stand spawned three sequels. The Last Stand 2, The Last Stand 3 and The Last Stand 4 Union City deliver new weapons and darker neighborhoods. More survivors arrive while zombie numbers climb. Tight firefights and tense supply runs drive each chapter. Years later the series still challenges fans to hold the undead at bay.
