About Chicken Shoot

Chicken Bill takes aim at fast moving birds on screen. The game opens on Arcade with a set target count. Players hit each goal and move on. Classic adds a ticking timer to each wave. Head-to-head mode matches two shooters for a points race.

It first landed on computers in 2000. Later releases reached handheld devices and home consoles. The computer release saw warm reviews. The handheld edition earned mixed ratings. The console build faced criticism over clunky controls and plain graphics.

This uneven feedback did not stop the title from gaining fans through its easy action. Players unlock oddball guns and laugh at silly sound effects. They shoot as many birds as possible. The clock and a target limit end each round. This simple design and cartoon style keep fans coming back.
