About Kakato Otoshi
Kakato Otoshi drops heel pieces from high-heel shoes one at a time and puts a player in a cobbler role. The player grips a tool for each shoe. A tap sends a bit of heel flying. A wrong hit sends the wearer stumbling. Precision timing wins the day.
Timing matters more than speed in every round. Each click trims a chunk from the heel. A different shoe tests your grip with a narrower margin. Players earn yen for each clean cut they make. Patience pays off as the challenge scales up.
January 2003 saw the first release of this odd arcade title. Fans praised the fresh concept. They noted the tough skills on display. It shook up casual play spaces and drew in a steady crowd. Many players return and meet a fresh focus each time.
