FrostBound

A Wizard Trapped in a Strange Frozen World
FrostBound is a pixel-style puzzle platform game where you control a wizard through 16 stages. Each level contains treasure chests that hold gems. You need to open every chest to finish the stage and unlock the next challenge.
Normal platform movement forms only part of the game. FrostBound gives the wizard an unusual ability. You can move down through the floor and come through another part of the stage. This changes how you think about platforms because the bottom of the screen does not always work like a normal dead end.
The game turns that idea into small movement puzzles. A chest may look impossible to reach until you use the stage’s strange floor and roof behavior.
Avoid Fire, Spikes, Bats, and Tornadoes
The levels contain several dangers. Spikes can block a path. Fires make some areas unsafe. Flying bats add moving threats, while active tornadoes create another hazard to avoid.
Movement uses familiar controls. The A and D keys or left and right arrows move the wizard sideways. W or the up arrow makes the character jump. S or the down arrow lets you fall through the floor. Touch controls are also available on supported devices.
Those few actions create most of the game’s puzzles.
Some Chests Need a Different Approach
Later stages make the special movement system more important. Certain passages can change how you travel through the level. Some treasure chests also need to be collected in a useful order. Taking the wrong route can leave you in an awkward position and make another chest harder to reach.
FrostBound rewards players who look at the whole stage before rushing toward the nearest treasure. You need to notice hazards, platforms, passages, and chest positions.
The sixteen-stage format keeps the adventure focused. Each completed level opens the next one, giving you a clear path through the game.
FrostBound combines retro platforming with a simple puzzle idea that changes normal movement. Jumping still matters, but knowing when to drop through the floor matters just as much. Collecting every gem while avoiding the frozen world’s hazards gives each level a clear goal and makes the wizard’s unusual movement useful rather than decorative.
